Competition Background
INTRODUCTION
Since 2021, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University has launched and successfully hosted the “XJTLU Global Entrepreneurial Dream-Chasers Competition,” which has now entered its fourth edition. The competition focuses on the early stages of innovation and entrepreneurship, aiming to inspire university students to explore how technology and business can drive social development.
The competition is divided into three tracks: the Early-Stage Idea Projects , the Mature Business Project Track. , and the Enterprise Track. On one hand, it encourages students to boldly put forward innovative ideas; on the other, it identifies and nurtures projects that can be implemented to create real social value. We are also calling for enterprises to participate. In doing so, the competition truly embodies the concept of “participation for everyone,” giving every student the opportunity to engage with societal issues, refine their ideas, and develop their potential.

The 2025 4th XJTLU Global Entrepreneurial Dream-Chasers Competition is hosted by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, organized by the XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), and supported by partners including Suzhou Fund, Tangxing Capital, National Innovation Center par Excellence, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI), the National Institute of Excellence in Engineering Innovation (Shanghai), and Materials Academy, JITRI.
The ideas are not restricted by field limitations, and any idea can be submitted. However, they may refer to the following topics for preparation.

Healthy Living and Cultural Technology
Finance and Business Innovation
With 60 award opportunities, participants can win prizes and gain access to one-on-one mentorship, scholarship opportunities, laboratory resources, incubation support at XJTLU X³ Co-Venture and the chance to join the Technopreneurship Summer School.

Virtual Soul Whisper: They developed a VR+AI companionship product to address anxiety and loneliness
Smart Mirror: They integrate image recognition and voice interaction for health monitoring and personalized recommendations.
Additional Rewards:
The first-prize team will join X³ Co-venture for the second phase of incubation, with the opportunity to get 100k RMB from the angel fund.
