The new museum at the Entrepreneur College campus of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University commences trial operations on October 22, 2025.
More than a chronicle of the university's journey, the museum serves as a bridge connecting Eastern and Western educational philosophies while exploring future models of learning. We invite you to step into this space where memory and vision converge—to experience XJTLU’s educational ethos, witness its growth, and immerse yourself in a place rich with stories.
Here, history is not a static display, but an ever-evolving educational philosophy, pointing to the common educational proposition of humanity in the era of digital civilisation. We envision a quiet encounter: rather than a check-in spot, think of it as a gentle slope for reflection. Stay awhile, pause, and revisit the question—“What education could be and do?”

何为西浦博物馆（新馆）What is XJTLU MUSEUM （Taicang）
西浦博物馆新馆位于西浦创业家学院G栋一层，以艺术空间与互动体验为载体，系统呈现大学发展历程、教育探索及创业家学院的育人理念与实践成果。
作为校园文化艺术综合空间，博物馆聚焦中外艺术、传统文化、校史脉络与数字科技，通过多元化、高品质的展览与教育活动，为师生和市民提供文化服务。新馆未来将与园区本馆联动，并融入西浦太仓科教文化艺术公园规划，共同构建开放、共享的大学文化生态。
Located on the first floor of Building G at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), the XJTLU Museum (Taicang) takes artistic spaces and interactive experiences as its carriers, presenting the University’s educational history, core philosophy, achievements in practice, and the innovative development of the Entrepreneur College.
As a comprehensive campus cultural and artistic space, the XJTLU Museum provides cultural services for teachers, students, and citizens through diverse and high-quality exhibitions and educational activities. In the future, the XJTLU Museum will be integrated into the planning of XJTLU Taicang Science, Education, Culture and Art Park, so as to jointly building an open and shared university cultural ecosystem.

【Patterns: A Dialogue Across Civilisations】
纹样是人类文明最古老的视觉印记，跨越地域与时代，编织出一部无声而共融的全球图景。本次展览以全球视野重新解读纹样，透过图案的表象，探寻文明交流的深层脉络——那些隐藏在点线面之间的文化共鸣与智慧共生。在西浦这片教育创新的土壤上，多元文化相遇碰撞，传统与现代持续交融，恰似纹样所隐喻的文明演进当代实践。纹样不语，却诉说着"给历史一个未来"的深刻命题。
Patterns are among the oldest visual imprints of human civilisation. They transcend regions and eras, weaving a silent yet universal tapestry of shared human experience. This exhibition reinterprets patterns through a global lens, looking beyond surface design to uncover the deeper currents of cultural exchange—the echoes of resonance and wisdom hidden in lines, shapes, and forms. Here at XJTLU, where educational innovation thrives, diverse cultures meet and intermingle, tradition converses with modernity, just as patterns symbolise the ongoing evolution of civilisation in practice. Though wordless, patterns speak profoundly of the question: how do we give history a future?

“Hello” is humanity’s oldest and warmest opening line.
"Hello" from around the world is saying Hi to you at the XJTLU Museum! We've gathered these global greetings into one exhibition, bringing worldwide connections to your fingertips and unlocking the boundless possibilities of cross-cultural dialogue.

参观者可至明信片墙区域进行打卡盖章，获取属于自己的一份西浦小纪念。同时，也欢迎大家在明信片留言，写下你对西浦博物馆的期待与希望，也将帮助我们更好成长！
Visitors can visit the postcard wall, pick up a postcard, get it stamped, and receive your own personal XJTLU souvenir. We also welcome you to leave a message on the postcard, sharing your expectations and hopes for the XJTLU Museum, which will help us grow even further!

欢迎大家前往博物馆太仓新馆内西浦时刻处进行扫码问答，我们在馆内设置了答题二维码，参与将有机会获得博物馆准备的精美小礼物（数量有限）。
Everyone can go to XJTLU Museum(XEC) to scan the QR code for Q&A game. We have set up a QR code for answering questions in the museum. Participants will have the opportunity to win a small gift prepared by the museum (limited quantity).
互动装置由 50 个与教育相关的词语组成，大家可以用毛线在板上勾勒图案或是单词，来回答“教育何为”。
The interactive installation features 50 education-related words. Participants can use yarn to outline patterns or spell words on the board in response to the question:What education could be and do.
