我们即将于2025年12月18日迎来第五届MEGA国际创意媒体盛典，本届将以“沉浸Immersion”作为主题，为创造者提供能够营造目标情境的想象空间。此外，本届MEGA将在全新落成的西交利物浦大学沉浸式球幕影院举行，并进行影院揭幕仪式，邀请了各界人士参与。
We are delighted to announce that the Fifth MEGA International Creative Media Festival will take place on 18 December 2025. This year’s edition centres on the theme “Immersion”, offering creators an imaginative space in which to construct and experience intended scenarios. In addition, the Festival will be hosted in the newly completed Immersive Dome Cinema at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, where an official launch ceremony will also be held. Guests from across academia, industry, and the wider community have been invited to attend.

MEGA国际创意媒体盛典是由西交利物浦大学影视与创意科技学院举办的年度国际盛会，迄今为止已连续举办四届。MEGA是Media(媒体)、Exhibition(展览)、Graphics(图像)、Arts(艺术)的集成概念。
MEGA国际创意媒体盛典旨在促进影视与创意媒体领域的交流，架起学界与业界对话与分享的平台，利用多元化的创意媒体形式，结合影视及数字媒体作品的展映及展示、举办国际创意媒体大赛、高峰论坛及分享交流会议等多种活动，邀请海内外的学者、专业人士、学生共同参与，探索影视、数字媒体艺术及创意科技的发展趋势，促进国际间学术与相关业内人士的交流和学习。
The MEGA International Creative Media Festival is an annual international event organised by the Academy of Film and Creative Technology at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, which has been successfully conducted for four consecutive years. MEGA is an integrated concept encompassing Media, Exhibition, Graphics, and Art.
The MEGA International Creative Media Festival aims to promote film, television, and creative media communication, providing a platform for sharing between academia and industry. The MEGA International Creative Media Festival focuses on the diverse forms of creative media communication. It carries out activities combining different arrangements and exhibitions of digital media arts, including the “International Creative Media Competition”, “Film, New Media and Creative Technology Summit”, and guests’ sharing, inviting scholars, experts, and students to join together to explore the trends in film, television, and new media arts, and enhance communications between students and relevant industry professionals.

第五届MEGA国际创意媒体盛典征稿阶段已于2025年4月圆满结束，共收到来自14个国家和地区的1,384份投稿，较去年增长67%，规模再创新高。其中，社会组作品达253部，显示出专业机构对盛典的持续关注与认可。
本届投稿涵盖中国大陆、港澳台及英国、美国、韩国、日本、澳大利亚等多个国家和地区，参赛院校包括中国传媒大学、北京电影学院、上海戏剧学院、皇家艺术学院、伦敦艺术大学、纽约大学等全球知名学府。同时，来自重庆三调影业、网易游戏等14家专业机构的投稿进一步丰富了竞赛的专业度与多样性。
The submission stage of the fifth MEGA International Creative Media Festival concluded in April 2025, attracting 1,384 entries from 14 countries and regions — a 67% increase from last year and a new record for the festival. Among them, 253 works were submitted by the professional group, reflecting the growing attention from industry creators.
This year’s submissions span China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), as well as the UK, the US, South Korea, Japan, Australia and other regions. Participating institutions include renowned universities such as the Communication University of China, Beijing Film Academy, Shanghai Theatre Academy, the Royal College of Art, University of the Arts London and New York University. In addition, entries from 14 professional organisations, including Chongqing Three Keys Picture and NetEase Games, further enriched the competition's professional depth.

作为盛典的重要环节，今年将于 12月18日在西浦创业家学院（太仓） 举办主题论坛，围绕 “沉浸未来：沉浸媒体驱动下的场景革命与价值创新” 展开深入交流，并聚焦分议题 “沉浸媒体重构空间媒介体验”，邀请来自高校、产业及创意机构的专家学者共同探讨沉浸式媒体技术在未来场景构建、内容表达与价值创新中的前沿趋势与发展机遇。
As a key component of the festival, a themed summit will be held on 18 December at the XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). Centred on “Immersive Future: Scene Revolution and Value Innovation Driven by Immersive Media”, the summit will facilitate in-depth dialogue and further explore the sub-topic “Immersive Media: Reconstructing Spatial Media Experiences”. Experts and scholars from universities, industry and creative institutions will be invited to discuss emerging trends and opportunities in immersive media technologies, particularly their potential to shape future spatial experiences, content innovation and value creation.
